Jennifer Armstrong, Principal
Jennifer brings more than 15 years of communications work to the table as Founder and Principal of Robbins Armstrong Communications. A life-long wordsmith and event organizer, Jennifer got her marketing start in college as a volunteer fundraiser for Camp Heartland (now One Heartland).
She soon found she had a knack for connecting with people and inspiring action and embarked on a career focused on public relations in the truest sense of the word: relating to publics. Through both PR agency and in-house roles, she has written and edited a wide range of communication pieces, from weekly association newsletters and SEO webcopy, to press releases, articles and blogs.
She has helped organizations connect with volunteers, donors, customers and members through grassroots programming, media relations, special events, written materials and more.
She served as Director of Development for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, as well as VP of Programs and Services for One Heartland, where she oversaw branding, strategic planning and volunteer outreach. She has also held several PR agency and consulting positions working on consumer brand outreach and internal communications.
